London - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - Russian
What a delightful surprise on the otherwise mundane and busy Holloway Road. I’d always been curious about Tbilisi and was so happy to have finally gone in to have my first taste of Georgian food.
From the beginning, the generous pours of local Georgian wine and the melt-in-your-mouth cheesy bread starter had me hooked. Add the friendly and helpful service and the enormous portion sizes and you’ve got a meal that’s not only flavorful and delicious but also reasonable on the wallet.
A great option that is a far cry from the typical Upper Street chain restaurants and much more personal, Tbilisi is definitely worth a try and I can’t wait to go back there myself!
